An embroidery pantograph

For the Elna sewing machines in the 1960s there was a product called: Nowifix or MONOgraph (different names in different countries?).

Nowifix is an device where you kan follow a line in a design and the design will be an embrodery at the sewing machine.

I want to use my – not yet arrived – Elna Supermatic – for this experiment.

I have started drawing sketch and the first prototype for the lasercutter. It will be cutted in cardboard.

I have too ordered an vintage Nowifix and a vintage German (!) design book for it. When they will arrive (from Australia and Germany). I am looking forward to have the device in my hands and testing it.

This drawing I will use for lasercutting in cardboard. I know this first protype will not work, but it will help me to figure out the problems.
